Welcome to Kisbér
Kisbér has got rich history because of its favourable geographical position. It is a trading centre among Bakony, Vértes and Kisalföld. The Batthyány family took possession of Kisbér in the 18th century. The horse farm was founded in 1853. Ferenc Kozma, whose name is associated with the breeding of the Kisbér half-bred, was appointed manager of the stud in 1869. In the town, visitors have got several possibilities to spend their leisure time. Kisbér is an ideal place for fishing, touring, sightseeing or just relaxing. Welcome to Hévíz!
This community in Zala county has a population of about five thousand, although this number gets multiplied, especially in summer: Indeed, right after Budapest Hévíz is the second most visited destination for tourism in Hungary, there are several hundred thousand tourists visiting the town each year.
